Green Campus
The vision for Purna Chetana Public School’s green campus is to create an environmentally sustainable and holistic learning environment for students. The school aims to become part of global green school networks and contribute to the cause of sustainability. As per the famous Sanskrit quote “पयावरणं समपकषत ह जीवनं” meaning the environment supports life. We wish to preserve and protect our environment, as it is essential for the sustenance of all living beings.
As part of this vision, the school plans to begin construction on the new campus in 2024, with the goal of completing it by 2026. The infrastructure will be built using sustainable materials and technologies, with an independent hamlet structure for different learning levels: Foundational, Preparatory, Middle, and Secondary. The campus will include an auditorium, open-air theater, tree houses, natural water bodies/streams, state-of-the-art laboratories, an innovation center, a tinkering lab, and an art school.
The school will strive to create a natural and green environment that gives a sense of a traditional Gurukul. The school will not only teach the importance of sustainability but also actively practice it, in order to contribute to saving the planet for future generations.
This vision plan is in line with the famous quote by Robert Swan “The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it.” It emphasizes the importance of individual and collective action in addressing environmental challenges and working towards a sustainable future.
